Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darwin Strapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kvasov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kvasov has chosen Diskoteka avaria-Nebo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Darwin Strapp could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roman Kvasov's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvasov swings for the body but Strapp moves out of range.

Strapp throws a strike but Kvasov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Strapp has his foot on Kvasov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kvasov works his way back into a safe position though.

Strapp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Strapp drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Strapp jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Strapp takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Strapp walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kvasov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kvasov misses with a low kick as Strapp jumps back.
Strapp cracks Kvasov with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kvasov falls to his knees and Strapp doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Darwin Strapp was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
