Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pejro Karesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirigaya Kazuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Pejro Karesky has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kirigaya Kazuto!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karesky tries to clinch up but Kazuto circles away and keeps his distance.
Karesky moves in looking to clinch but Kazuto pushes him off.
Karesky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kazuto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Karesky is looking to clinch.
Karesky wants to clinch up but Kazuto keeps it at a distance.

Kazuto is trying to pull guard but Karesky turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Kirigaya Kazuto has been cut.
Kazuto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Karesky walks away with a smile on his face. Kazuto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Karesky leaves Kazuto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pejro Karesky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kirigaya Kazuto.
Karesky pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kazuto back to the cage. Karesky follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Karesky looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Kazuto misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Karesky is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kazuto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kazuto is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Karesky tries to clinch but Kazuto moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Karesky tries to close the distance and clinch but Kazuto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Kazuto is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Karesky pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kazuto tries to pull guard but Karesky forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Karesky's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Karesky stops a takedown attempt from Kazuto.
Karesky putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kazuto in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Karesky digs a right hand into Kazuto's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kazuto's gas tank.

Karesky is pressed up against the cage. Kazuto has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Karesky down to the mat. Karesky avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kazuto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Karesky gets in close and tags Kazuto with a short punch that almost sends Kazuto to the mat! Oh Kazuto is in big trouble! He turns his back on Karesky, trying to create some distance but Karesky rushes him, striking wildly and Kazuto goes down! The referee tackles Karesky into the cage to end the fight! Karesky is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pejro Karesky!
