Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brick House!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shark Attack!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Attack shoots for a takedown but House saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
It looked like House was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
House lands with a shot to the body.

Attack bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

House wants to stand but Attack is controlling his posture from full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

House throws a head kick but Attack moves out of range.
House paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Attack misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Attack closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. House did well to prevent Attack getting side control.
Attack seems to have recovered his senses.
Attack working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That was a close round but I would say that Brick House will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Brick House seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Attack shoots in looking for a takedown. House tries to sprawl out of it but Attack keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. House manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brick House is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Attack fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging House to the ground. Attack is now in House's guard.
Attack throws an elbow that misses. House uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Attack's guard. Nice move by House!

House has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Attack throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around House's waist but House gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Attack off to one side.
House feints a jab and as Attack dips his head, House unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Attack right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Attack falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the ropes! House smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brick House!
Brick House decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
