Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Arenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arenas comes to the ring accompanied by Alive-Krewella. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nicolas Arenas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Logan Harris!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Arenas swivels and escapes.

Harris takes the fight into the clinch.

Arenas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Harris gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Arenas.
An inside leg kick lands from Harris.
Harris shoots for a takedown but Arenas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Arenas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harris shoots in for a takedown but Arenas shows good takedown defense.
Nicolas Arenas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Logan Harris.
Harris takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Harris moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Harris takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Arenas defends well and Harris ends up having to push Arenas into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Harris shoots for a double leg takedown but Arenas sprawls well. He's pushed Harris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Arenas misses with a body shot.
Arenas throws a leg kick but Harris moved away.
Arenas tries to land a front kick but Harris steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Arenas slaps away a takedown attempt from Harris, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Arenas misses with a combination
and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Arenas darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Harris lands a jab to Arenas's midsection.
Arenas misses with a straight right.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Arenas as he avoids it easily.
Harris tries to clinch
and Arenas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nicolas Arenas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Arenas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harris sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Arenas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Harris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Harris takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Arenas misses with a wild combination.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Arenas as he avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harris just misses with a punch to the body.
Arenas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Arenas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A left and a right from Arenas both land. Nice combination.


Harris is rocked!
Arenas connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Harris is still on wobbly legs! Can Arenas finish him?
A big right followed by a crushing left from Arenas knocks Harris out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nicolas Arenas!
Nicolas Arenas spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
