The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish connects with a body shot that sends Jyllendael's belly button to the back.
Fish throws a low kick but Jyllendael moves out of range easily.
Jyllendael takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Fish jabs at Jyllendael's body.
Jyllendael clinches.
Fish wants to take the fight to the mat but Jyllendael manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jyllendael scores with a nice hook to the head.
Jyllendael is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fish is defending well.
Fish fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Fish breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jyllendael looking to sit in guard and control but Fish gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fish stands up over Jyllendael, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fish controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Fish trying to control the position from guard on top but Jyllendael is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fish gets to his feet - Jyllendael follows without any prompting.

and Fish counters with a straight right hand.
Fish chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Jyllendael looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Fish defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jyllendael.

Jyllendael shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fish pinned against the cage. Fish gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fish throws a push kick but Jyllendael slaps the foot to one side.

Fish moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Jyllendael is looking to clinch but Fish is avoiding it.
Fish cracks Jyllendael with a good jab.
Fish wants to slow Jyllendael down by chopping away at his legs.

Fish swats away the attempt to clinch by Jyllendael.
Fish slaps away a takedown attempt from Jyllendael, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fish checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jyllendael doesn't manage to clinch there - Fish circles away.
Jyllendael tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jyllendael shoots in for a double leg but Fish sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jyllendael moves out of range of the body kick from Fish.
Jyllendael darts in and clinches Fish up against the cage.
Fish breaks the clinch.

Jyllendael pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fish back to the cage. Jyllendael follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fish. Jyllendael does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jyllendael seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Jyllendael takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fish scores with a spinning back kick!
Jyllendael darts in trying to clinch
and Fish counters with a straight right hand.
Jyllendael takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Jyllendael looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fish makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Fish.
Fish throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jyllendael throws a strike but Fish rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Paul Fish dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fish does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jon Paul Fish seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Fish stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jyllendael is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fish thuds a left hand into Jyllendael's body.
Jyllendael gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jyllendael tries to clinch but Fish is having none of it.
Fish ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jyllendael moves away.
Jyllendael looking to score a takedown here. Fish is defending well but Jyllendael drives through and ends up in Fish's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fish escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jyllendael gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jyllendael trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fish's guard.
Jyllendael trying to control the position from guard on top but Fish is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fish is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jyllendael rolls with it to try and escape but Fish cranks on the arm and Jyllendael is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Jon Paul Fish thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Jake Jyllendael stepped up to the mic, saying 'oh, that was just bad luck'.
