Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miles Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Garrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Garrick tenderised Davis's leg. Davis is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice body punch from Davis.
Davis misses with a few strikes there.
Garrick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Jay Garrick has been cut.
Davis misses with a double jab
and Garrick counters by moving into the clinch.
Garrick putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Davis in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Garrick manages to break the clinch.
Davis slips a jab and a cross from Garrick.
Garrick wants to slow Davis down by chopping away at his legs.
Jay Garrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Davis duly obliges.
Garrick tried to score with a low kick but Davis checks it.
An inside leg kick from Garrick misses.
Davis looks to land a combination but Garrick avoids it well.

A shot to the liver by Davis. Beautiful body shot.
Davis drops Garrick with a beautiful combination! Garrick stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Davis is looking for the KO!
Garrick is rocked!
Davis finds Garrick's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Garrick flops back against the ropes, eyes gazing into the distance. Davis lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Garrick will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Miles Davis!
