The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Gene clinches up with Yang and pushes him back against the cage.
Yang looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Gene gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Kasey Yang has been cut.
Gene digs a right hand into Yang's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Yang's gas tank.
Yang tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gene smiles and moves away.
Gene lands a nice hook to Yang's body. Yang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gene looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Gene shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yang's guard.
Gene landing with the ground and pound.

Yang is rocked!
Gene postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Yang covers up, he's hurt! Gene keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Gene and the ref steps in to end the fight! Gene can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
