The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toretto scores with a hook to the body. Hopkins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hopkins wants to clinch
and Toretto counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Bernard Hopkins has been cut.
Hopkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Toretto swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hopkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Toretto looks to land a combination. Hopkins sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Hopkins tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Toretto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hopkins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The crowd cheers as Toretto lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hopkins doesn't seem phased though.
Toretto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

A jab from Toretto finds it's way through Hopkins's defenses.
Toretto drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Hopkins onto his butt! Hopkins pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

Toretto scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hopkins in his tracks.

Oh Hopkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Toretto catches Hopkins with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hopkins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Toretto can pounce on him.
Toretto looks to land a right hand but Hopkins moved out of range.
Hopkins seems to have got his legs back now.
Toretto keeps the fight on the outside.
Toretto cracks Hopkins with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Hopkins is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Hopkins is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Hopkins avoids the body shot from Toretto.
Hopkins tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Toretto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Toretto paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bernard Hopkins's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Hopkins sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Toretto uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hopkins has time to react.

Toretto connects with a leg kick. Hopkins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Toretto lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Toretto throws a leg kick but Hopkins sees it coming and moves out of range.

Jeez, Bernard Hopkins's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

and Hopkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hopkins walks into a big right hand from Toretto and goes down! The referee sends Toretto to a neutral corner as Hopkins gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bernard Hopkins's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Roman Toretto!
A relieved looking Roman Toretto thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
