Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Tsoukalos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Roshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giorgio Tsoukalos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Roshi!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roshi throws a jab but it's blocked by Tsoukalos.
Roshi looks to land a right hand but Tsoukalos moved out of range.

Tsoukalos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Roshi's half guard.

Tsoukalos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Roshi defends it well.
Roshi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Tsoukalos is nestled in close to Roshi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Roshi wants to improve his position but Tsoukalos is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roshi is looking to control Tsoukalos's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roshi avoid being mounted?
Tsoukalos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Roshi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tsoukalos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tsoukalos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Tsoukalos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roshi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tsoukalos somewhat.
Tsoukalos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Roshi can do to turn this around?
Tsoukalos fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Tsoukalos cracks Roshi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Roshi enables Tsoukalos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Roshi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Roshi wants to get up but he can't break Tsoukalos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tsoukalos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Roshi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tsoukalos postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Roshi bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Tsoukalos and the fight is over!
