Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Earl Raymond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Smash McPunchy!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from McPunchy.
McPunchy scores with a jab to the jaw.

Raymond shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Raymond was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McPunchy is looking to regain half guard here but Raymond keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raymond has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
McPunchy thuds a left hand into Raymond's body.
McPunchy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Raymond doesn't seem bothered though.
McPunchy fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McPunchy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Raymond closes the distance looking to clinch
and McPunchy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Earl Raymond has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raymond looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McPunchy is fending him off so far but Raymond persists. Nope, McPunchy circles away and we're back to standing.
McPunchy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A looping hook to the body misses from McPunchy. Raymond does a little dance to reset his feet.
McPunchy lands with a shot to the body.
McPunchy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Raymond on the side of the head.
McPunchy displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Nice uppercut there from McPunchy.
McPunchy with a nice cross.
Raymond doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Raymond tries to clinch up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McPunchy throws a one two combo.


Raymond is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McPunchy closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Raymond! McPunchy dives in looking to finish! Raymond is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Smash McPunchy!
