Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murican connects with a body shot.
Murican connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kent momentarily.
Murican lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kent has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kent misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Murican looking to score a takedown here. Kent is defending well but Murican drives through and ends up in Kent's guard.
Murican wants to control from the top but Kent keeps moving.
Murican is pushing down on Kent's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kent is fighting to maintain full guard but Murican has managed to sneak the leg through.
Murican works his way into side control.
Kent is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Kent is looking for a sweep.
Kent wants to control but Murican postures up.
Kent manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kent thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kent trying to control the position from guard on top but Murican is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Murican is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Murican pulls Kent in close to prevent any damage.
Kent postures up in Murican's guard and throws a big left but Murican blocks it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Murican pulls Kent in to control the position.
Kent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Murican pulls Kent in close to prevent any damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Murican thumps Kent with a low kick.
Kent tries to clinch
enabling Murican to counter with a crisp jab.
Kent throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Murican counters with a nice uppercut.

Murican scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Murican is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kent has escaped the position, nice work there.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Murican working away.
Kent wants to get back to his feet but Murican drags him back down.

Murican is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kent knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kent wants to get back to his feet.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Murican tries for a kimura but Kent is defending well.
Kent sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Murican prevents Kent from standing back up.
Murican takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Kent is trying to get back to full guard.
Kent is staying active underneath Murican, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Murican controlling the action here.
Kent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Murican dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kent misses with a looping right.

Murican shoots in and bounces Kent off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Murican is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kent looking to hit a scissor sweep but Murican is one step ahead there.
Murican wants to control from the top but Kent keeps moving.
Kent really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murican. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kent tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Murican stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kent swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kent looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kent wants to get back to his feet but Murican passes into half guard.
Murican wants to control but Kent is keeping him busy.
Murican with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Kent is trying to stand.
Murican is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kent!
Murican can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kent is looking to escape.
Murican moves to back control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kent is trying to roll into a better position but Murican has get a rear naked choke and Kent is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). The Murican!
The Murican made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'MURICAAA Fuck Yeah!'.
