Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Spectre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dave Manson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dave Manson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spectre misses with a low kick.
As Spectre backs away, Manson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Manson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Manson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Xtreme MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Spectre misses with a kick to the body
and Manson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spectre lands a lovely overhand right.
Manson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

It looked like Manson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Spectre takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Manson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Spectre is able to avoid easily.

Spectre has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Manson.

A little jabbing left from Spectre on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Manson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Manson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Spectre defending well as Manson loads up on a big left hand.
Spectre follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Spectre in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Spectre might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Manson has got the better of the exchanges.

Spectre uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Manson, as that shot connected.

Spectre's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Manson counters with a solid body kick.

Spectre tries to work over Manson's front leg with a kick but Manson checks it.
Dave Manson is winning the standup battle so far.
Manson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A slapping body kick lands there for Manson.
Spectre is breathing heavily.
Manson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Spectre, right into the meat.
Manson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Manson throws a wild body kick that Spectre sees coming a mile off.
Spectre needs to keep his hands up - Manson had a free shot at his head there.
Manson scores with a spinning back kick!

Manson throws a front kick that sends Spectre stumbling back into the cage.
Manson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Spectre with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Manson to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Manson lands a big uppercut and Spectre crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Spectre looks OK. Manson waves Spectre back to his feet!

Spectre is rocked!
Manson circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Spectre tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Manson wins by KO!
