Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusan Kikovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Peterson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blind Eye Halo. Dusan Kikovic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dusan Kikovic!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kikovic drives through with a takedown into Peterson 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Peterson wants to hold on but Kikovic pushes him away.

Peterson is squirming around, avoiding Kikovic's attempts to control the action.

Kikovic postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Peterson looks a forlorn figure.
Kikovic pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Kikovic has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Kikovic manages to work his way to half guard, despite Peterson 's best efforts.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kikovic keeps working.

Peterson is looking to advance position but Kikovic has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Peterson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Peterson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kikovic throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Peterson 's body to avoid the submission. Peterson has instead reached around Kikovic's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Peterson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Nikolai Peterson !
Nikolai Peterson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
