Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrik Vasilev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierre comes to the cage accompanied by Micheal Jackson beat it. Vasilev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mr. Probz - Waves (Robin Schulz Remix Radio Edit) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jay Pierre has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Pierre!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrik Vasilev!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilev thuds his right hand into Pierre's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Pierre looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vasilev lands a nice hook to Pierre's body. Pierre takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pierre shoots in and drives through. Vasilev sprawls well.
Pierre misses with a looping right.
Vasilev lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice cross by Vasilev.
Pierre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Pierre misses with an attempted mid kick.
Vasilev lands a head shot.
Vasilev works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vasilev connects with a body shot that sends Pierre's belly button to the back.

Vasilev lands a nice shot to the body.
Adrik Vasilev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vasilev manages to avoid it.

and Vasilev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Pierre is rocked!
Pierre walks into a straight right hand from Vasilev.
Oh Pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vasilev cracks a nice hook into Pierre's ribs.
Pierre seems to have got his legs back now.
Pierre takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Vasilev has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Pierre takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Vasilev lands a slapping body shot.
Vasilev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pierre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pierre is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Pierre takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Pierre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vasilev darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Pierre misses with a lunging right hand
and Vasilev scores with a counter punch that sends Pierre to the canvas! Vasilev smells blood - he's punishing Pierre with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Pierre has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

A very excited looking Adrik Vasilev rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Jay Pierre stepped up to the mic, saying 'GOD BLESS!!! MY PERFORMANCE WILL BE BETTER NEXT TIME'.
