The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz throws a hook but Leclair blocks it.
Ortiz misses with a double jab
and Leclair makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Leclair works the jab nicely.

Leclair lands a right hook to the body.
Ortiz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Leclair has closed the distance and engaged Ortiz in a clinch.
Ortiz has had enough of the clinch but Leclair keeps him there for the moment.
Leclair tries a body shot but Ortiz blocks it.

Ortiz tries to bum rush Leclair with a series of wild strikes but Leclair uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ortiz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ortiz fails to land with a series of punches.
Jerome Leclair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leclair cracks Ortiz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Leclair has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ortiz to stand back up!

OH! Ortiz has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Leclair smells blood and charges in for the finish! Leclair unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Ortiz sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
