The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies's jab looks to have found its range, popping Matsuo under the eye.
Matsuo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pit Mies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mies throws a lazy right hand but Matsuo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Matsuo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Matsuo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Matsuo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Mies is rocked!
Matsuo fakes the leg kick and cracks Mies in the body.
Oh Mies is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Matsuo plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Mies to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Mies just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
