And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oscar Ruiz!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruiz gets tackled into the cage by Grant. Grant maintains the clinch.
Grant is looking for a takedown.

Grant manages to break the clinch.

Oooooh!!! Ruiz has knocked Grant down with a huge combo! Ruiz steps away and waves a wobbly Grant back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Ted Grant has been cut.
Ruiz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grant paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Grant fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ruiz.
Oscar Ruiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grant takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
