Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arstan Selmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiki Toke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toke has chosen Bonecracker- Shocore as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toke connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Selmy momentarily.
Selmy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Selmy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Toke checks a leg kick nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Selmy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Selmy.
Selmy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Toke sprawls well initially but Selmy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Toke is looking for a sweep. Selmy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Toke has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Fighting Fitness & Freedom. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Toke tries to roll over but Selmy keeps him under control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Selmy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Toke is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Selmy pulls his head out easily.
Selmy slips a nice elbow through Toke's hands, connecting with Toke's forehead.
Toke wants to get back to full guard.
Selmy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Toke is looking to control Selmy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Toke avoid being mounted?
Toke is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Selmy pulls his head out easily.

Selmy wants to work for an arm triangle but Toke is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Toke is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Selmy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Selmy's back!

and Toke counters with a nice double leg into side control. Selmy won't be happy with that.
Toke with the ground and pound but Selmy regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Selmy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Toke is working away from the top position though.
Selmy regains full guard. Nicely done.
Selmy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Toke's guard.

Selmy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Toke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Selmy has managed to get both his arms back between Toke's legs - danger averted.

Selmy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Toke throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Selmy's body to avoid the submission. Selmy has instead reached around Toke's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Selmy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
