Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sheng Chung Lin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 2, fighting out of New York, Vlad Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin connects with a solid leg kick.
Kersikov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kersikov throws a chopping leg kick but Lin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lin with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kersikov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lin manages to avoid it.

Lin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kersikov. Lin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vlad Kersikov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sheng Chung Lin had his way with Vlad Kersikov in that round.
