Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiri Brodski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emeka Shakur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brodski's entrance music is Cold Blue Coma- Downset. A fine choice. Shakur is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tatanka - Africa. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shakur fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Brodski on the side of the head.

Brodski was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Brodski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shakur as he avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shakur! But no joy.
Brodski has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shakur finds it's way round the side to connect with Brodski's head.

Shakur throws a series of punches but Brodski moves out of range.

Oh Brodski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Brodski feints and as Shakur raises his hands in defense, Brodski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Emeka Shakur dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Brodski fails with a takedown attempt.
Shakur has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brodski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shakur - the referee stops the clock and Brodski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shakur. Brodski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
