Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Lebowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lebowski comes to the cage accompanied by hotel california. Edwards has chosen Like a surgeon as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards throws a hook but Lebowski avoids it easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Edwards checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

And Edwards tries to counter it with a takedown but Lebowski pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lebowski throws a sloppy head kick and Edwards moves out of range easily.
Lebowski tries to bum rush Edwards with a series of wild strikes but Edwards uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lebowski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Edwards has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Edwards crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lebowski - the referee stops the clock and Edwards gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lebowski. Edwards manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Lebowski is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Edwards gets his way!
