Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Sigurdsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigurdsson comes to the cage accompanied by 2ne1 - Can't Nobody. Thai has chosen Town Called Malice as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai throws a series of strikes that have Sigurdsson backpedaling.
It looks like Frank Sigurdsson has been cut.
Sigurdsson looks to land a right hand but Thai moved out of range.
Thai swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Sigurdsson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sigurdsson throws a hook to the side of Thai's head but Thai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Thai was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Sigurdsson tries to move into range but Thai moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sigurdsson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sigurdsson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Thai has time to react.
It looks like Muay Thai has been cut.
Some bone on bone action there as Sigurdsson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sigurdsson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Thai gets tackled into the cage by Sigurdsson. Sigurdsson maintains the clinch.
Sigurdsson tries to circle away but Thai has him pinned against the cage.
Thai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thai with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Thai feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sigurdsson's calf.
Sigurdsson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That kick from Thai tenderised Sigurdsson's leg. Sigurdsson is trying to keep his angry face on.

Thai moves away from the strike by Sigurdsson.
Despite the aggression on Thai's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Thai thows a leg kick but Sigurdsson checks it
and Sigurdsson counters with a nice uppercut.
Sigurdsson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sigurdsson throws a series of punches but Thai avoids them all with ease.
A countering left hand to the body from Thai misses.
Thai moves out of range as Sigurdsson strikes.
Sigurdsson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sigurdsson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sigurdsson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That has opened up Muay Thai's cut even more.
Sigurdsson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thai.
A nice inside leg kick there by Thai. That's going to slow Sigurdsson down.
Sigurdsson moves in looking to clinch but Thai pushes him off.

Sigurdsson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thai does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Thai ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thai tries to work over Sigurdsson's front leg with a kick but Sigurdsson checks it.
Sigurdsson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Thai throws a front kick that sends Sigurdsson stumbling back into the cage.

and Thai counters with a leg kick.
Thai connects with a leg kick. Sigurdsson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Sigurdsson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sigurdsson looks to land a left hand but Thai moved out of range nicely.

Thai unleashes a big counter combination but Sigurdsson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A little jabbing left from Thai on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thai throws a lazy right hand but Sigurdsson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Frank Sigurdsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sigurdsson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Muay Thai's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Thai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Frank Sigurdsson is winning the standup battle so far.
Sigurdsson takes a swing at Thai's ribcage but misses.
Thai swings for the body but Sigurdsson moves out of range.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Muay Thai's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
