Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Gar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ho Chi Min!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chi Min avoids it really well and circles away.
Gar misses with a takedown attempt - Chi Min sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Gar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chi Min throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chi Min is in Gar's guard.

Gar looking for subs off his back but Chi Min has passed one foot through into half guard.
Chi Min wants to stand up but Gar has a hold of him and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gar looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Gar looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gar has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Chi Min escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Chi Min!
Gar is breathing heavily.
Chi Min slows the pace down.
Chi Min wants to stand but Gar has his arm trapped.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gar regains half guard.
Chi Min throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Gar looking for submissions off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chi Min is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Chi Min moves into full mount! Gar won't be happy about that!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Chi Min looking to control and managing it successfully.
Chi Min is landing with some decent strikes but Gar is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Chi Min working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Gar looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Chi Min! Submission of the night perhaps?
