Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leo Katona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Chavarria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chavarria has chosen tom sawyer as his entrance music. Leo Katona had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chavarria gets a double leg takedown into Katona's guard.

Katona escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chavarria gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Katona really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chavarria has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Katona is proving hard to escape from.

Katona isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Chavarria stacks Katona on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Chavarria!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Katona lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chavarria has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chavarria and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Oh but Katona is tightening it up a little... Chavarria has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Chavarria reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Chavarria taps out! Nice BJJ there by Katona!
