Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mordred Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bryan Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mordred Deschain!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deschain misses with a head kick.
Bishop ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Deschain thuds his right hand into Bishop's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bishop takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Deschain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deschain goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Deschain swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Deschain scores with a jab to the head.
Mordred Deschain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deschain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice defenses there by Bishop.
Deschain lands a nice looking body shot.
Deschain avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Bishop drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bishop is looking to work some ground and pound but Deschain has wrist control.

Bishop jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Deschain manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Check out the look on Bishop's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deschain wants to get back to his feet but Bishop drags him back down.

Deschain is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Deschain wants to hold on but Bishop pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bishop lands a nice shot to the head.

Deschain tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bishop connects with a bit shot that sees Deschain covering up! More strikes from Bishop and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bishop is our winner by TKO!

A relieved looking Bryan Bishop thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
