Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Furiaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hammer Hands!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Furiaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hands wants to control but Furiaki is keeping busy.

Furiaki tries to stand and escape but Hands is controlling the position.

Hands moves into full guard.

Hands is concentrating on defense, preventing Furiaki from advancing position.

Furiaki seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hands is trying to hold Furiaki in close to prevent damage but Furiaki has managed to pass into half guard.
Hands is not content to let Furiaki control the position.

Hands tries to kick Furiaki off but Furiaki keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hands really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Furiaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hands gets full guard.
Hands has control of Furiaki's left arm, preventing Furiaki from doing any damage.
Furiaki wants to get up but he can't break Hands's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hands bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Furiaki tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hands wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Furiaki is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hands's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Hands is trying to control. Furiaki wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Hands prevents Furiaki from improving his position.
Hands has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Body Pain_12elite_599$+VM. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

A close round but Hammer Hands will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hands lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Kenji Furiaki has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hands loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Furiaki scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hands land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hands stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hammer Hands!
