Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa keeps the fight on the outside.
Siprus tries to clinch but Barbosa moves out of range.
Barbosa appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

and Barbosa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Barbosa.

Barbosa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Siprus wants to get back to his feet but Barbosa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barbosa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Siprus wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Barbosa manages to pass to side control.

Barbosa seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barbosa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Siprus takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Barbosa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Siprus's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
