The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Andrei Kersikov has been cut.
Carter tried to score with a low kick but Kersikov checks it.
Kersikov throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Llewelyn Carter has been cut.
Andrei Kersikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter drops Kersikov with a beautiful combination! Kersikov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carter is looking for the KO!

Kersikov is rocked!
Kersikov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Carter's calf.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kersikov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kersikov lands a right hook to the body.
Nice body kick there by Kersikov.
Kersikov throws a sloppy head kick and Carter moves out of range easily.
Kersikov wants to land a leg kick but Carter is out of range.
Kersikov digs a good body shot into Carter's ribs.
Carter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kersikov.
Kersikov throws a good cross that connects.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kersikov. Carter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kersikov thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Carter if he has to take too many more of those.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Kersikov misses with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kersikov bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kersikov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Carter has time to react.
Kersikov scores with a shot to the body.

Kersikov drops Carter with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Carter looks back up at him and smiles so Kersikov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Carter is rocked!

Llewelyn Carter's cut is getting worse.
Kersikov jabs Carter to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kersikov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Carter seems to have got his legs back now.
Kersikov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kersikov lands a nice looking body shot.

Kersikov cracks a nice hook into Carter's ribs.
Carter is holding his hands too far apart here. Kersikov throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Carter is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
