Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harold Norman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar throws a series of punches but Norman avoids them all with ease.
Norman thinks about countering with a head kick.
Norman circles away from the clinch attempt
and Norman counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Norman tries for a takedown but Lesnar circles away easily
and Lesnar counters with a nice body shot.
Norman misses with a left hand

and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lesnar connects with a couple of short punches.
Lesnar controlling from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar wants to get up but he can't break Norman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Norman looking for a guillotine here but Lesnar defends easily.
Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Norman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Norman looking for subs off his back but Lesnar has passed one foot through into half guard.
Norman is refusing to be controlled, as Lesnar sits in half guard.
Norman really is a fat lump.
Lesnar tries to pass to full mount but Norman defends it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lesnar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Norman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Norman is trying to control. Lesnar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Norman content to control rather than advance.
Norman thows a huge punch but Lesnar dodges it nicely.
Lesnar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Norman is working away from the top position though.
Well, if Norman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lesnar tries to kick Norman off but Norman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lesnar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Norman doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lesnar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Harold Norman has been cut.
Norman keeps the fight on the outside.
Lesnar throws a nice head kick!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Norman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lesnar circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harold Norman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesnar closes the distance looking to clinch
and Norman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Lesnar dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Harold Norman's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Norman misses with a takedown attempt - Lesnar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lesnar wants to clinch up but Norman keeps it at a distance.
Lesnar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Norman swats away the attempt to clinch by Lesnar.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesnar misses with a low kick.
Lesnar dives in and grabs Norman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Norman pushes down on Lesnar's head and hops out.
Norman seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Lesnar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Norman manages to avoid it.

Lesnar drops Norman with a naaaaasty hook - Norman is in real trouble here! Lesnar dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brock Lesnar!
In his post fight interview, Brock Lesnar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
