The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celestio fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Celestio.
Acton stuffs the takedown attempt from Celestio. Celestio gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamal Celestio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Acton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Acton tries for a takedown but Celestio sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck for Acton with that takedown attempt.
Celestio looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Acton is fending him off so far but Celestio persists. Nope, Acton circles away and we're back to standing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Acton! But no joy.
Acton lands with a nice combination. Celestio backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Jamal Celestio has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Acton looks for a takedown but Celestio sprawls well.

Oooh a lovely combination from Acton sends Celestio down but not out. Acton dives into side control looking to finish.

Celestio tries to buck Acton off but Acton is having none of it.

Acton wants to stand but Celestio has his arm trapped.
Celestio tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Acton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Acton tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Celestio tries to buck Acton off but Acton is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Celestio throws Acton to one side and escapes!
Acton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Acton has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Celestio is breathing heavily.
Acton shoots for a double leg takedown but Celestio sprawls well. He's pushed Acton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Celestio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Acton throws out a counter right but Celestio avoids it with no problem.
Michael Acton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Acton cracks Celestio with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Acton connects with a right hand. Celestio shakes it off.
Acton lands with a big right hook that stumbles Celestio - he's out on his feet here! Acton follows up with another monster hook that separates Celestio from consciousness! Celestio falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Acton stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
