Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuji Rikidozan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Katsuji Rikidozan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Lynch counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lynch postures up in Rikidozan's guard and throws a big left but Rikidozan blocks it.
Rikidozan wants to sweep here but Lynch controlling him for the moment.
Rikidozan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lynch works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Rikidozan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lynch is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Lynch makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rikidozan really felt that one!

Lynch fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rikidozan.

Rikidozan drops his hands momentarily and Lynch takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Rikidozan's coach down at Axia Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rikidozan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Lynch cracks Rikidozan with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Rikidozan falls to his knees and Lynch doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Eric Lynch thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
