Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damian Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashin Sukumaran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sukumaran looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Sukumaran slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Casey thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Casey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Casey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sukumaran on the ground.
Sukumaran trying to stand up but can't free himself from Casey's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Casey is wriggling around but Sukumaran manages to pass to half guard.
Sukumaran is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sukumaran uses his free foot to push down on Casey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Casey.
Sukumaran tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Casey is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Sukumaran controlling the pace for now.

Sukumaran is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Casey to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Casey shrugs it off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sukumaran lands a nice shot to the head.

Sukumaran is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Sukumaran extends the arm and Casey is forced to tap!
