Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josh Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hai Howru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josh Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hai Howru!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howru thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Miller if he has to take too many more of those.
Josh Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller dives in and grabs Howru's left leg, looking for a takedown. Howru pushes down on Miller's head and hops out.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Howru! But no joy.
Howru throws a hook but Miller avoids it easily.
Miller misses with a low kick.
Howru avoids a punch combination nicely.
Miller looks for a takedown but Howru sprawls well.
Howru feints a counter leg kick.
A slow jab from Miller misses its intended target.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Howru throws a strike aimed at the side of Miller's head but Miller avoids it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller parries the strikes from Howru easily there. Howru is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Miller to escape.
Miller is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Howru wants to pass the guard but Miller is defending well.
Howru wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
Howru thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Howru can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Miller tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Howru defends well and Miller ends up having to push Howru into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Howru sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Howru! But no joy.

and Howru counters by clinching up.

Miller jumps guard but Howru turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Howru lands a damaging elbow.
Howru lands an elbow inside that Miller shrugs off.
Howru has Miller pushed against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Howru breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A swing and a miss from Miller.
Miller rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Howru counters with a straight right hand.
Howru uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miller.
Miller misses with a takedown attempt
and Howru makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hai Howru comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Howru has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
