Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Biers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Edgar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Edgar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riley Biers!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edgar scores with a takedown into Biers's guard.
Edgar with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Edgar controlling from the top position.
Edgar works over Biers with some ground and pound from guard.
Edgar slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Biers is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Biers controls Edgar momentarily but Edgar frees himself.

Edgar slips a nice elbow through Biers's hands, connecting with Biers's forehead.
Biers wants to control but Edgar is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Biers tries to roll over but Edgar keeps him under control.

Edgar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Biers on the ground.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
It looks like Edgar is going to stand back up.

Edgar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Biers on his heels. He'll look to pass Biers's guard now, I'm sure.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Biers looks to clinch

and Edgar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Edgar.
Edgar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Biers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Edgar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Edgar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edgar wants to stand but Biers is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Edgar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Biers can do to turn this around?
Edgar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Edgar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Biers for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Edgar fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Biers to the ground. Edgar is now in Biers's guard.
Biers wants to improve his position but instead Edgar has moved into half guard.
Adam Edgar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Biers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Biers is trying to maintain the position but Edgar is very close to passing his half guard.
Edgar lands strikes from half guard.
Edgar seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Edgar lands with a punch from half guard.
Edgar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Edgar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Edgar lands a big head kick that sends Biers tumbling to the mat! Edgar takes a step backwards and waves Biers back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Biers is rocked!

Edgar shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Biers is on queer street and Edgar is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Adam Edgar!
