Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshawn Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demon Dark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dark has chosen Oomph! Labyrinth as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dark shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lynch as he avoids it easily.
Lynch stuffs the takedown attempt from Dark. Dark gets slowly back to his feet.
Lynch is looking to counter punch.

Lynch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dark, pushing him back against the cage.
Lynch gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Demon Dark has been cut.
Lynch lands an elbow inside that Dark shrugs off.
Dark blocks the elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dark gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Dark working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lynch keeping moving, preventing Dark from controlling successfully.
Dark's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Dark wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Lynch on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lynch tries to get out of the position.
Dark is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lynch might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dark is looking to work some ground and pound but Lynch has wrist control.
Dark trying to control the position from guard on top but Lynch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dark has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Marshawn Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dark fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Marshawn Lynch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demon Dark.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dark closes the distance and clinches up with Lynch, looking for a takedown. Dark pushes Lynch against the cage but Lynch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lynch throws a looping overhand right but Dark ducks down to avoid it.
Dark shoots in looking for a takedown. Lynch tries to sprawl out of it but Dark keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lynch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lynch tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dark manages to circle out of the way.

Dark avoids the elbow strike from Lynch, against the cage.
Lynch throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Dark dodges an elbow strike from Lynch.
Lynch misses with an elbow strike.
Dark tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lynch lands an elbow that stopped Dark in his tracks for a moment.
Dark has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lynch avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That has opened up Demon Dark's cut even more.

The cut above Demon Dark's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Demon Dark's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Demon Dark's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
