The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dream fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tran sprawls well initially but Dream persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tran is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dream pulls his head out easily.
Dream perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Dream is taking a breather. Tran says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dream is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tran sees it coming and defends easily.

Dream keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tran's head.
Dream wants to stand but Tran has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Tran takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Tran seems a little lost for a moment, as Dream dominates the positioning.

Dream tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dream has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tran is looking to regain half guard here but Dream keeps moving and retains side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dream is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Tran's shoulder. That is not cool.
Dream is putting a hurting on Tran here, landing some big shots from side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dream tries to advance to mount but can't.
Dream controls the position from side control.

Tran has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dream can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Scream Dream has got the better of the ground game so far.
Dream has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tran is proving hard to escape from.

Dream drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dream jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dream pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Tran is rocked!
Dream postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Tran badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Dream around the waist but Dream pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Dream is the winner by TKO! Dream jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
