The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez throws a left and a right that both miss

and Coxx counters by clinching up.
Coxx tries to land knees in the clinch but Rodriguez avoids the damage to the body.

Coxx manages to break the clinch.
Rodriguez with a jab.
Rodriguez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rodriguez connects with a right hand. Coxx shakes it off.
Rodriguez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A shot to the liver by Rodriguez. Beautiful body shot.
Rodriguez cracks Coxx with an open hand slap.
Rodriguez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodriguez fails to land with a series of punches.
Rodriguez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Coxx at a distance.
Rodriguez checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Rodriguez scores with a sloppy right hand. Coxx should have avoided that one.

Coxx has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rodriguez blocks an elbow strike.
Coxx has Rodriguez pressed against the cage, preventing Rodriguez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Coxx pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
BOOM! Rodriguez lands a beautiful left hook that drops Coxx. Coxx tries to recover but Rodriguez is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Coxx lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
