Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adolfo Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiggins comes to the cage accompanied by Rock Chalk Jayhawk. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Wiggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adolfo Dias!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dias momentarily.
Wiggins swings away with a body shot that misses
and Dias connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wiggins throws a jab when Dias was well out of range.
Dias bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wiggins's head backwards.
Wiggins thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wiggins throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Dias doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dias uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wiggins.
Wiggins takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wiggins misses with a looping right.
Dias throws out a counter right but Wiggins avoids it with no problem.
Wiggins misses with a body shot.
Dias is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Wiggins gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Dias counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dias avoids the body shot from Wiggins.
Dias uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wiggins.

Wiggins changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Dias misses with a right hand
and Wiggins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Adolfo Dias has been cut.
Dias uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wiggins.
Wiggins loads up on a big right hand but Dias slips the punch.
Wiggins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dias.
Dias swings widly with a right hand
and Wiggins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Andrew Wiggins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wiggins throws the left hand but Dias avoids the punch easily.
Dias now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wiggins keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dias lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wiggins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wiggins throws a hook to the side of Dias's head but Dias sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dias throws a big counter head kick but Wiggins avoids it with no problem.
Wiggins connects with a nice looking jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wiggins misses with a series of wild punches.
We've been told by Wiggins's head coaches at Farrell Pikey Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wiggins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dias.
Wiggins lands a really nice looking cross but Dias seems unphased.
Wiggins throws a right hand that misses
and Dias counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.


Wiggins is rocked!
Dias throws an off balance right hand
and Wiggins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dias throws a sloppy head kick and Wiggins moves out of range easily.
Wiggins looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Wiggins misses with a low kick.
Dias steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Wiggins uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dias has time to react.
Wiggins scores with a body shot.
Dias scores with a hook to the body. Wiggins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wiggins throws a shot from downtown. Dias moves away and avoids it.
Dias throws a body shot but no joy.
Wiggins half committed to a counter leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wiggins pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wiggins thumps Dias with a low kick.
Wiggins thuds his right hand into Dias's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wiggins throws a hook to the side of Dias's head but Dias sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dias feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wigginss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dias will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wiggins misses with a right hand
and Dias counters with a flying knee that drops Wiggins! Dias dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adolfo Dias!
During a confident post fight interview, Adolfo Dias thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
