Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Simon Frazier!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Miller drops down looking for a counter takedown but Frazier sprawls and moves away.
Frazier throws a left and a right that both miss

and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Miller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Frazier can do anything to dispel that myth.

Frazier is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Frazier doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller.
We've been hearing that Miller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Frazier keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Frazier closes the distance and pushes Miller back into the cage.

Frazier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frazier cracks Miller with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Frazier tries a head kick but it misses.
Frazier scores with a jab to the body.

Frazier fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage.

Frazier breaks from the clinch.
Frazier thuds a left hand into Miller's body.
Frazier scores with a decent looking hook.
Miller's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Frazier connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Miller scrambles back to his feet.
Frazier doesn't manage to clinch there - Miller circles away.
Frazier falls off balance throwing a combination

and Miller counters with a shoot takedown. Frazier fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Miller passes Frazier's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Miller wants to work for an arm triangle but Frazier is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Frazier attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Miller tries to counter with a takedown but Frazier is quick to defend against it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Miller goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Frazier rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Miller's guard! Nice work there by Frazier!
Miller wants to sweep here but Frazier controlling him for the moment.
Frazier trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom.
Frazier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Frazier has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Miller is proving hard to escape from.

Frazier might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Miller haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Miller is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Frazier can do to turn this around?

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Frazier lands with a straight right. Miller didn't see that one coming.
Frazier tries to clinch but Miller is having none of it.

Frazier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Miller moves away.

Frazier rushes Miller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Frazier dives in and scores a takedown into Miller's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Simon Frazier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Miller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Miller is working to tighten his grip on Frazier's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Frazier has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Miller is really squeezing tight and eventually Frazier passes out! Miller breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
