Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Dela Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louden Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hurley has chosen self starter as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dela Cruz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hurley defends it nicely.
Dela Cruz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Louden Hurley has been cut.
Hurley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dela Cruz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dela Cruz pushes Hurley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hurley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dela Cruz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Hurley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dela Cruz to the ground. Hurley is now in Dela Cruz's guard.

Hurley wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Dela Cruz's closed guard. He's half up but Dela Cruz has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Dela Cruz pivots and extends the arm, Hurley falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Dela Cruz! Well done that man!

A very excited looking Juan Dela Cruz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Louden Hurley stepped up to the mic, saying 'the fuck man'.
