Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wet Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jandre Vorster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wet Hell had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wet Hell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jandre Vorster!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vorster shoots in and bounces Hell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hell thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Vorster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vorster wants to control from the top but Hell keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vorster is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hell keeping moving, preventing Vorster from controlling successfully.

Vorster thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Vorster trying to control the position from guard on top but Hell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Vorster is looking to clinch.
Hell throwing a counter right hand but Vorster manages to avoid it.

Vorster closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hell did well to prevent Vorster getting side control.
Vorster is looking to take a break and control but Hell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vorster is thwarting Hell's attempts to control the position.
Hell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vorster on the ground.

Vorster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hell keeps working.
Hell trying to control but Vorster postures up.

Vorster is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hell has managed to free his arm - good work.

Vorster is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hell sees it coming and defends easily.
Hell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hell pushes Vorster off looking to stand but Vorster dives back in and keeps control.

Vorster is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vorster.

Vorster looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hell is not content to let Vorster control the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Vorster is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hell has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vorster is looking for submissions but instead, Hell has regained full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hell keeping moving, preventing Vorster from controlling successfully.

And Hell counters with a quick kick to the body but Vorster blocks it.

Vorster closes the distance and pushes Hell back into the cage.

Vorster works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Vorster wants to pass the guard but Hell is keeping the position.

Vorster is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vorster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hell has managed to get both his arms back between Vorster's legs - danger averted.

Vorster has his foot on Hell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hell works his way back into a safe position though.

Vorster looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hell has picked Vorster up and slammed him! Vorster can't keep hold of the triangle and Hell manages to pass to side control!
Vorster is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Hell tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Vorster.
Vorster holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Vorster trying to hold on to Hell's head to control him but Hell postures up.
Vorster slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Vorster wants to sweep but no luck.

Vorster has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vorster.
Vorster tries to bench press Hell off him but Hell keeps the position.
Hell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Vorster wants to control but Hell postures up.
Vorster is looking to regain half guard here but Hell keeps moving and retains side control.

Vorster keeps trying to improve his position.
Vorster is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hell's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Vorster is not content to let Hell control the position.
Hell is thwarting Vorster's attempts to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Vorster tries to clinch up but Hell circles away and keeps his distance.

Vorster darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vorster is trying to work for a kimura but Hell is defending well.
Vorster is trying to control the action in half guard but Hell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
