And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polara throws a solid leg kick but Ulhaq takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Polara.
Ulhaq blocks a head kick by Polara.
Ulhaq fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Polara sprawls well initially but Ulhaq persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Ulhaq.
Polara wants to get back to full guard.
Ulhaq trying to mount his opponent but Polara defends it.
Ulhaq is taking a breather. Polara says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Polara taking some punishment here, with Ulhaq in his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ulhaq seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Polara does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ulhaq is trying to control the action in half guard but Polara is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Ulhaq is stalling here. Polara is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ulhaq seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Polara has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Polara is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ulhaq looks calm but he's in trouble here. Polara gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ulhaq is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Polara lets go of the hold and Ulhaq can pop his arm back in it's socket.
