The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hessler dips to his left and cracks Goodbarrel with an uppercut!
Goodbarrel misses with a kick to the body
and Hessler counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Scot Goodbarrel has been cut.
The crowd cheers as Goodbarrel lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hessler doesn't seem phased though.
Goodbarrel avoids the body shot from Hessler.
Hessler lands with a cross.
Hessler ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
An attempted straight right counter from Hessler misses the target.
Goodbarrel throws a leg kick
letting Hessler counter with a right hand.
Goodbarrel lands with a kick to the temple. Hessler shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Goodbarrel misses with an uppercut.
Goodbarrel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hessler scores with a punch to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goodbarrel throws a looping overhand right but Hessler ducks down to avoid it.
It looked like Hessler wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Goodbarrel lands a leg kick that knocks Hessler off balance momentarily.
Goodbarrel buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Goodbarrel jabs at Hessler's body.
Hessler seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Hessler attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hessler throws a shot from downtown. Goodbarrel moves away and avoids it.

Goodbarrel looks for the body kick but Hessler saw that one coming.

Hessler fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Goodbarrel checks it well.
Hessler throws a wild body kick that Goodbarrel sees coming a mile off.
The fighters circling - Hessler throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Goodbarrel moves out of range of the body kick from Hessler.
Hessler throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Hessler jabs Goodbarrel right on the nose. Goodbarrel blinks but takes it well.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A head kick from Goodbarrel lands but Hessler takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Goodbarrel tries to move into range but Hessler moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Goodbarrel thuds a left hand into Hessler's body.

Hessler looks to land a body kick but Goodbarrel moved away.
Hessler looks to land a left hand but Goodbarrel moved out of range nicely.
Hessler throws a hook to the side of Goodbarrel's head but Goodbarrel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hessler has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Goodbarrel.
Goodbarrel tries to land a front kick but Hessler steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Hessler takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Goodbarrel tries to land a front kick but Hessler steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Goodbarrel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hessler manages to avoid it.
Hessler throws a jab when Goodbarrel was well out of range.

Hessler takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Goodbarrel's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hessler under the eye.
Goodbarrel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Goodbarrel swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Hessler is rocked!
Goodbarrel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A nice side step and Goodbarrel releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Oh Hessler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hessler slips a straight right by Goodbarrel.
Hessler gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Goodbarrel gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hessler is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scot Goodbarrel! Scot Goodbarrel retains his middleweight title!
A very excited looking Scot Goodbarrel rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
