Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Beau Sweet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lescano thuds a left hand into Sweet's body.
Lescano misses with a few strikes there.

Lescano pushes Sweet up against the cage in a clinch.
Lescano manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Sweet is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sweet goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lescano prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sweet slowing the pace effectively.

Sweet breaks from the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No joy there for Lescano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lescano lands a left and a right that send Sweet crashing to the mat, dazed. Lescano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Sweet is rocked!

It looks like Beau Sweet has been cut.
Martin Lescano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sweet blocks a head kick by Lescano.
As Lescano looks to move away, Sweet throws a big counter combo bu Lescano just gets out of the way.
Oh Sweet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lescano misses with a low kick as Sweet jumps back.
Sweet takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sweet drops his hands momentarily. Lescano doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Sweet staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Sweet doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Martin Lescano!
