The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick defending well as Landeverde loads up on a big left hand.

Riddick throws a hook to the side of Landeverde's head but Landeverde sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Landeverde throws out a counter right but Riddick avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Riddick connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Landeverde counters with a three punch combo that has Riddick backing up. Riddick nods at Landeverde to acknowledge the strikes.
Landeverde pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A jab lands there for Riddick.
Riddick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Landeverde throws out the jab.
Landeverde ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Riddick throws a looping overhand right but Landeverde ducks down to avoid it.
Riddick is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Landeverde throws a head kick but Riddick moves out of range.
Landeverde just misses with a punch to the body.
Richard B Riddick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Riddick throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Riddick connects with a looping right hand.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Landeverde throws a shot from downtown. Riddick moves away and avoids it.
Riddick is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Landeverde.
Landeverde displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Riddick throws out the jab.
A little jabbing left from Landeverde on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Riddick misses with a straight right.
Landeverde throws a shot to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Riddick. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Riddick.

Oooooh!!! Riddick has knocked Landeverde down with a huge combo! Riddick steps away and waves a wobbly Landeverde back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Landeverde is rocked!

It looks like Ric Landeverde has been cut.
Riddick darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Landeverde's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Riddick before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
