Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jozef Jankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Degrizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jozef Jankowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jozef Jankowski!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Degrizz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jankowski blocks a jab.
Degrizz swings widly with a right hand

and Jankowski counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Degrizz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jankowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Our spies down at at Rancid Fight Club inform us that Degrizz has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Jankowski is working Degrizz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Jankowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Degrizz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Degrizz is trying to control the position but Jankowski postures up.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Jankowski slips a nice elbow through Degrizz's hands, connecting with Degrizz's forehead.

Degrizz is looking for a sweep. Jankowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jankowski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Degrizz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

As Degrizz looks to move away, Jankowski throws a big counter combo bu Degrizz just gets out of the way.
Degrizz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jankowski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Degrizz counters with a one-two to the body.
Jankowski shoots in looking for a takedown but Degrizz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jankowski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And Degrizz responds with a good body kick, but Jankowski manages to step out the way in time.
Jankowski is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Degrizz can do to turn this around?

Degrizz drops Jankowski with a beautiful combination! Jankowski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Degrizz is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jozef Jankowski has been cut.

Jankowski wants to stay close but Degrizz steps back to make room for something. Jankowski seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Degrizz and Jankowski drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jim Degrizz!
