Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Howlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howlett comes to the cage accompanied by Berserker. Anderson has chosen The Champ is Here as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Howlett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 2, fighting out of New York, Reggie Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howlett looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range.
Howlett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Howlett fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Anderson is out of range.
Anderson throws a leg kick but Howlett moved away.
Howlett lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The fighters circle momentarily. Howlett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Howlett walks into a stiff left hand from Anderson.
Howlett stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Anderson.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Anderson looking to sit in guard and control but Howlett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Howlett not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
