Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liukkonen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cygan to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Cygan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Cygan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liukkonen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cygan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cygan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Liukkonen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cygan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Liukkonen pulls down on the head and he's put Cygan to sleep! This one is all over!
