Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matti Meikalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Dyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Philip Dyson!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Meikalainen.
It looks like Philip Dyson has been cut.
Dyson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Dyson lands a nice hook to Meikalainen's body. Meikalainen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Meikalainen swings widly with a right hand
and Dyson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Meikalainen sizes up Dyson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dyson lands a jab to the nose.
Dyson scores with a head kick. Meikalainen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Meikalainen wants to land a leg kick but Dyson is out of range.
Dyson cracks Meikalainen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dyson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Meikalainen to stand back up!
Meikalainen is rocked!
Dyson checks a leg kick.
Oh Meikalainen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dyson throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dyson cracks a nice hook into Meikalainen's ribs.
Dyson drives through and clinches with Meikalainen against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Meikalainen.
Meikalainen seems to have got his legs back now.
Meikalainen can't find room to land a body shot as Dyson controls the action.
Dyson creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Meikalainen's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Meikalainen drops to his knees and Dyson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Philip Dyson!
