These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grundy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Grey Ii walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Grundy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Grundy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Grundy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Grundy glances at the clock... BAM! Grey Ii nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Grundy crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Grundy is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
